GO annotations transferred to a gene from other gene products — by orthology (ISO), sequence similarity (ISS/ISA), phylogenetic inference (IBA) or electronic orthology pipelines. Each row reads donor(s) → intermediate → target, with what the donor carries today, what else the target carries, and the gene review's verdict.

Donor support is what the donor gene product carries now for the exact term (QuickGO, at the cache date): EXPERIMENTAL, INFERRED_ONLY (e.g. itself ISO/IBA/IEA — a transfer of a transfer), ABSENT (checked, term no longer on the donor) or NOT_CHECKED. Symbol match compares donor and target gene symbols; a different symbol (e.g. rat Calm1 → mouse Calm3) flags paralog sourcing for a closer look — it is not a verdict. IBA on target / experimental on target: SAME term, a MORE_SPECIFIC one (which already entails this row), a MORE_GENERAL one, or NONE — i.e. how much this transfer adds.
