# MTMR9: human–horse sequence comparison

The downloaded human Q96QG7 sequence (549 residues) and selected horse A0A9L0T3C1 sequence (507 residues) share 97.8% identity among 507 paired residues. Paired coverage is 92.3% of human and 100.0% of horse.

Full alignment, hashes, parameters and reproducible script: [MTMR9.json](../../../../projects/PROTNLM_EVALUATION/mammal-benchmark/paired-sequences/MTMR9.json) and [compare.py](../../../../projects/PROTNLM_EVALUATION/mammal-benchmark/paired-sequences/compare.py).

Pairwise similarity supports homology but does not establish reciprocal orthology, intact gene models, conservation of targeting signals or every biological claim. Current UniProt sequences are compared; identity with the original ProtNLM input sequence is unverified.

## Architecture check

The selected horse sequence lacks human residues 98–139, crossing the GRAM-domain/myotubularin-domain junction; the C-terminal region implicated in partner association is retained. Complex formation and downstream regulation remain inferences with a gene-model caveat.
