Choosing a client
- Non-technical curators: Start with Goose — it has the easiest MCP configuration and a desktop UI
- Developers: Claude Code for terminal-based workflows
- GitHub-first workflows: GitHub Copilot for automated issue-to-PR workflows
- General desktop use: Claude Desktop for local file interaction with MCP support
